Russell has acted professionally with the Eden Project and Miracle Theatre, playing the lead role in Bill Scotts 'The Great Silence' - which toured the UK. In 2005 he won the 'Delabole Slate Audience Award' for Best Student Film at the Cornwall Film Festival for his debut short, interactive film 'Sunday Bench', which he wrote, directed and edited. He is well experienced in live-event organising after founding and running the successful clubnight 'RawPlug' (once hailed by Stranger magazine as 'the most definitive open-mic night in Cornwall'), which has since given rise to various musicians and artists now performing in London and festivals around Europe. He studied Theatre, Film, Art and Photography at Stratford-upon-Avon and now works as professional Graphic Designer after optaining a BA (hons) in the subject from Falmouth Collge of Arts in 2006.
His past acting roles have included Peer Gynt, Demetrius in Titus Andronics (performed at the Edinburgh Festival) Sweet Charity's Daddy Brubeck, Billy in Little Voice and more recently the part of Schroeder in IF's Charlie Brown.
